About the NextGen Summer League

The NextGen Summer League is built for motivated 2017–2020 birth year players who want to develop, compete, and have fun in a high quality summer environment.

Hosted at Paramount  Thornhill, this 8 week league is professionally structured and designed to keep players sharp while accelerating their development. The 4on4 format creates more open ice, more decision making moments, and more opportunities for players to think and play creatively. It gives young athletes the space to build confidence, try new skills, and explore the creative side of their game in real competitive situations. With fewer players on the ice, every shift matters  players must move, support, defend, and attack with purpose.

This league blends development, competition, and fun. Teams are carefully balanced to ensure parity and competitive games each week. Full standings, player stats, and structured playoffs lead into Championship Week in Week 8, giving players something meaningful to compete for all summer long.

Each bench is led by experienced NextGen non-parent coaches who provide guidance, structure, and a positive learning environment. Our goal is to create a place where players are pushed to improve while still enjoying the game and building confidence. Individual registration ensures balanced teams and a strong league culture. Whether preparing for the upcoming season or simply looking to stay sharp and competitive during the summer months, the NextGen 4on4 Summer League offers a premium, organized, and development-focused experience.
